Training

Training is a top requested benefit by A/E/C employees. And firms report providing training as one of their greatest challenges. Elevate's training programs provide strategies and techniques that empower attendees with a goal to help them grow in their careers as they help grow their firms.

The largest challenge to training is engagement and follow-through. Without them, you are unlikely to gain your return
on investment. Elevate develops customized content specifically for A/E/C firms using real examples, real clients, and real plans with action items and methods of accountability to ensure learning is extended to implementation, creating competition, and just having plain old fun!

Numerous studies show that adults can
only sustain attention for about 20 minutes before concentration wanes. For that reason, Elevate’s workshops are built in a format of instruction, engagement, and hands-on exercises. We offer programs targeted to both technical and non-technical professionals to empower participants to grow in their careers as they grow their firms.

As with all Elevate training, we begin our engagements with customization. Should you need assistance in determining content, Elevate can also perform training gap analysis. Once content is determined, we work with you to customize the content to incorporate your language and processes. We provide you with the presentation, workbooks and Zoom recordings for virtual training. We also provide you with a CEU template form to provide your team.

The Elevate team of veteran marketing and business development specialists have the experience and expertise to lead your firm to achieve your goals. All team members have worked in-house at firms leading marketing and business development and are passionate about helping teams grow.

  • Breaking Down Barriers and Creating Better Solutions through Elevated Brainstorming
While it's important to start with a structured, analytical process when solving problems, this can sometimes lead a group to develop limited and unimaginative ideas. By contrast, brainstorming provides an open environment that encourages everyone to participate where all ideas are welcomed and built upon, and all participants are encouraged to contribute fully, helping them develop a rich array of creative solutions. It can also help you gain alignment from team members for the solution chosen – after all, they're likely to be more committed to an approach if they were involved in developing it. What's more, because brainstorming is fun, it helps team members bond, as they solve problems in a positive, rewarding environment. This workshop will explore the rules and challenges of brainstorming along with 10 different brainstorming techniques before diving into one of them. 1.25 PDHs (virtual or in person)
  • Accountability Tactics to Implement and Execute Your Ideas
Studies show 60% of people make annual New Year's resolutions with only 8% realizing success. Sound familiar? More importantly, does this ring a bell when it comes to executing on your business development and marketing goals? Goals, plans, strategies and all the good intentions in the world are great - but without execution accountability, historically, they’ll fall flat. When it comes to goal setting, accountability requires assigning responsibility for the achievement of each goal. As a measure for tracking success, accountability creates a sense of ownership and pride that often leads to triumph and enhanced ability to achieve your desired outcomes. By holding accountable to your goals, you designate the goal as a priority – not just activity that may or may not get done. In this workshop, we share the benefits of accountability along with our proven, successful accountability tactics you can immediately put in place to achieve your business development and marketing goals. 1 PDH (virtual or in person)
